Take 100 μL of plasma in a glass test tube. Place in water bath or incubator for 5 minutes. After 5 min Add 200 μl of PT reagent (Tissue thromboplastin) Pre-warmed at 37°C for at least 3 minutes. Start stopwatch shake the tube gently to mix content. By tilting tube note clotting time.

Normal range of 11 to 16 Seconds PT, INR (International normalized ratio). An INR A type of calculation based on PT test result.

Normal Range of INR: 0.8 to 12
